John: *rubbing his wrists, looking at Tanda strangely
King Blackthorn: We have a lengthy agenda for this meeting, so let's get started.
John: Good evening your grace.
King Blackthorn: If a governor will not be able to attend a meeting of the Council,
King Blackthorn: Contact my secretaries (Elizabella@uoem.net and Malachi@uoem.net.)
King Blackthorn: If you would like to make a request for assistance with an event,
King Blackthorn: it should be sent to the Lady Wraith (wraithbroadsword@gmail.com).
King Blackthorn: She has a cottage with a mailbox in northwest Britain, near the North Side Inn.
King Blackthorn: I see that several governors were unable to be here tonight.
King Blackthorn: Would anyone like to speak for one of their towns this evening?
Tanda: *raises hand*
King Blackthorn: Now I invite each governor to give a State of the Town status report,
Dot Warner: *frowns*
King Blackthorn: Oh, I'm sorry, please go ahead, Governor Knighthawke.
Tanda: The only thing I can share via a report from an acquaintance
King Blackthorn: *nods*
Tanda: is that a hospitality house in Jhelom
Tanda: has been having some issue with pirates liberating
Tanda: shipments to her establishment
Tanda: this was brought up per my report from a town hall meeting
King Blackthorn: Are you concerned that Governor Jameison may have been abducted by pirates?
Tanda: by report he was at the meeting
Tanda: so I assume he is fine, but a lot can change
King Blackthorn: Thank you for bringing Jhelom's pirate problem to my attention.
Tanda: *nods*
King Blackthorn: I shall ask my Minister of Security to look into the matter.
Magnus Grey: *nods*
Tanda: Thank you
King Blackthorn: *smiles at Governor Knighthawke and Minister Grey*
King Blackthorn: Now we shall hear the State of the Town status reports.
King Blackthorn: Governor Warner, you have the floor.
Dot Warner: Thank you, Your Majesty.
Dot Warner: Britain fares well, with more than 140 million gold in the coffers.
Dot Warner: I just wish there was something more interesting then the trade deal for it to be spent on...
Dot Warner: There will be a Britain Town Social this Wednesday 8pm C in FitzOwen Green.
Dot Warner: As with the previous socials, this will be a low-key gathering intended to encourage citizen participation and ideas for the future of the capital.
Dot Warner: I hope that many will attend.
Dot Warner: A gate will be available for the duration of the social from the First Bank of Britain.
Dot Warner: Two Saturdays from now, on the 30th at 1pm C, is the Rumble in the Jungle at the Lost Lands Arena.
Dot Warner: Gates will be available for the duration of the tournament from the First Bank of Britain and Luna Bank.

Aornis: All is mostly well in Vesper. The citizens are thriving, though there has been some concern of late
Aornis: There have been reports of "ghostly whispers" and "ghostly echoes" in the woods between Minoc
Aornis: and Vesper
Aornis: Governor Knighthawke, Sir John, and I are looking into it

Tanda: Minoc so far has uncovered an appearance of a ghostly figure
Tanda: that appeared at Majestic Oaks Auction Thursday
Tanda: which lies between Vesper and Minoc
Tanda: I have been getting a lot of spiritual disturbance as I meditate
Tanda: and scry, I have no idea exactly what this is
Tanda: though perhaps related to the haunting of my castle
Tanda: from past Minoc Governments
Tanda: There is a more formal investigation
Tanda: planned for the 27th

Willa of the Yew-Wood: That is a long time to be gone from the realm.
King Blackthorn: Yes, please, Governor Knighthawke.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Thank you Tanda.
Tanda: *nods*

Tanda: Governor Willa
Willa of the Yew-Wood: The city of Yew has been well...and quiet.
King Blackthorn: *nods to Governor Jameison*
Willa of the Yew-Wood: After laying to rest our dearly departed former Councilor Luicfer Darkwind.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: We had a lovely ceremony to remember him just a week ago. He is dearly missed.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Other than that nothing really happening in Yew, so I yield to Governor Jameison.
Thom Jameison: Thank you Governor Willa
Thom Jameison: Good evening Your Grace and fellow Governors
Thom Jameison: I apologize for my tardiness.
Thom Jameison: Overall things are going well in Jhelom
Thom Jameison: Trade is increasing and new businesses are opening.
Thom Jameison: We had a successful town meeting at the new tavern in town.
Thom Jameison: You would have enjoyed it your majesty.
Thom Jameison: *smiles*
King Blackthorn: *smiles*
Thom Jameison: Unfortunately we have been having more trouble with pirates
Thom Jameison: in the last month. Our new tavern owner Susie had several shipments
Thom Jameison: hijacked in our territorial waters.
Thom Jameison: While our fleet is doing all it can to solve the problem there has been
Thom Jameison: a suggestion that I request an officer of the Crown to be posted on Jhelom docks
Thom Jameison: to encourage more privateers to seek out pirates in our waters.
Thom Jameison: I will be forwarding a formal request for one to your office your Majesty.
Thom Jameison: That is all I have for the Council at this time.
Thom Jameison: hmmm was I the last?
King Blackthorn: Thank you to all the governors for keeping me informed about your towns and cities.
Thom Jameison: *chuckles*

King Blackthorn: Our Minister of Security, Magnus Grey, shall now address the Council.
Magnus Grey: Your majesty. Governors.
Magnus Grey: Our forces were able to solve the problems on Moonglow.
Magnus Grey: The situation was caused by rogue members of the Seers of the Moonstone.
Magnus Grey: Those involved were either captured or killed.
Magnus Grey: The dangerous artifacts in their possession were recovered.
Magnus Grey: Britannian Security Forces are currently searching for a deserter named Rodrick.
Magnus Grey: He abandoned his post at Bordermarch with sensitive information.
Magnus Grey: When he was confronted in Destard, he escaped with a dangerous moonstone.
Tanda: *raises an eyebrow*
Magnus Grey: He also recently made an alliance with a dragon named Dracothraxus.
Magnus Grey: According to our Platinum allies, this Crimson tends to work through underlings.
Magnus Grey: This fits from current reports.
Magnus Grey: Dracothraxus seems to have a cult of lesser dragons on Fire Island.
Magnus Grey: The locations of Rodrick and Dracothraxus are currently unknown.
Magnus Grey: But our forces will continue to search for them and the moonstone in question.
Magnus Grey: I will keep you informed of the situation.
Magnus Grey: Any questions?

King Blackthorn: Governor Knighthawke, I wish you and Governor Aornis luck with

King Blackthorn: Governor Warner, I congratulate Britain on its industriousness.
King Blackthorn: I hope the Social is delightful and wish you luck with the Rumble.
King Blackthorn: Governor Aornis, I am glad that, ghostly disturbances aside,
King Blackthorn: all is well in Vesper.
King Blackthorn: It is valorous of Sir John to assist you and Governor Knighthawke in the investigation.
King Blackthorn: Governor Willa, my condolences on the loss of Councilor Darkwind.
King Blackthorn: May he rest in peace. *bows head for a moment*

King Blackthorn: Governor Jameison, it is good to hear that all commerce is on the upswing in Jhelom.
King Blackthorn: I hope that Jhelom's town guard is able to put down the pirates.
King Blackthorn: If not, of course you can always take further action.

King Blackthorn: The governors of Jhelom, Minoc, Vesper, and Yew requested bulletin boards.
King Blackthorn: I approved those requests and passed them along to the builders.
King Blackthorn: On my strolls through my kingdom, I saw that all four of them have been built.
King Blackthorn: *smiles*
Tanda: *smiles*
Willa of the Yew-Wood: *smiles*
King Blackthorn: Now we shall open the floor to new issues.
King Blackthorn: Governors may present any new issues first.
Thom Jameison: *nods*
King Blackthorn: Now citizens may present new issues.
