King Blackthorn: We have a lengthy agenda for this meeting, so let's get started.

King Blackthorn: If a governor will not be able to attend a meeting of the Council,

King Blackthorn: If you would like to make a request for your town,
King Blackthorn: a place has been setup for you to post it on a public message board,
King Blackthorn: magically visible to all citizens.

King Blackthorn: Would anyone like to speak for one of their towns this evening?
King Blackthorn: Now I invite each governor to give a State of the Town status report,

King Blackthorn: Yes, Governor Knighthawke?
Tanda: With Governor Jamieson
Tanda: the only thing I can relay is from our High Council meeting
Farimer Tensus: *raises brow*
Tanda: he's been working to help our new Governor of Skara Brae
Tanda: get some supplies in route and such
Farimer Tensus: *smiles*
Tanda: reported all was calm in Jhelom and trading is brisk
Farimer Tensus: *clears throat*
Farimer Tensus: he has your grace...
Tanda: the other's I cannot speak for
King Blackthorn: I am pleased to hear that.
King Blackthorn: It is good that our newest governor has received assistance in adjusting to his new role.
Farimer Tensus: *nods*
King Blackthorn: Did you have anything else to report this month, Governor Knighthawke?
Tanda: As to Minoc?
King Blackthorn: *nods*
Tanda: We are working on a Yule event for December 8th
Tanda: in the spirit of giving and sacrifice
Tanda: trade has been good
Tanda: citizens I've talked to have been positive and morale seems good
Tanda: so I'm encouraged
Tanda: that is all at this point
King Blackthorn: *smiles and nods to Governor Warner*
Dot Warner: Thank you Your Majesty, thank you Governor Knighthawke.
Dot Warner: Britain fares well and the citizens appear happy.
Dot Warner: Last weekend's King's Cup Tournament was a smashing success.
Dot Warner: The championship bout was especially rousing due to multiple close-calls for each combatant, ultimately
Dot Warner: resulting in Halen of UOD$ securing the win.
Dot Warner: Mortelle of YoLo won second place, while Holy Moses of UOD$ won third place.
Dot Warner: I want to congratulate all the Cup's contenders and encourage them to spread the word about the next cycle of
Dot Warner: tournaments beginning in February.
Dot Warner: The next Cup will be worth 100 million gold.
Dot Warner: Britain's next event will this Monday at 8pm C, the 2nd Annual Harvest Banquet in Compassion Park's FitzOwen Green.

King Blackthorn: Governor Kitty, it is good to hear that New Magincia continues well.
King Blackthorn: Governor Knighthawke, that sounds like a wonderful event.
King Blackthorn: I wish you well with it.

King Blackthorn: I am glad to hear trade has improved. *smiles*
King Blackthorn: Governor Warner, I am pleased that my capital city continues well.
King Blackthorn: Congratulations on the success of the tournament.
King Blackthorn: I hope the Harvest Banquet goes equally well.
King Blackthorn: Governor Tensus, welcome to your first meeting as a governor.

King Blackthorn: I am glad to hear that you have so quickly managed to bring improvements to Skara Brae.
Farimer Tensus: Thank you your Grace
King Blackthorn: It is good to see the sister cities of Skara Brae and Jhelom helping one another.
King Blackthorn: Now we turn to requests from governors.
King Blackthorn: Governors may make a reasonable number of requests per term.
King Blackthorn: I urge governors to consider their requests carefully.
King Blackthorn: It will take two to three weeks after a governor's request is _approved_ for it to be fulfilled.
King Blackthorn: That reflects the standard two weeks it takes for even my kingly requests to be fulfilled,
King Blackthorn: plus a one week buffer in case anything goes wrong.
King Blackthorn: If your event depends on your request being granted and fulfilled,
King Blackthorn: it would be wisest not to schedule that event before you have _approval_ for your request.
King Blackthorn: Also, governor may request an old-style bulletin board for their town.
King Blackthorn: The bulletin boards are usually put up fairly quickly.
King Blackthorn: This month, there was a request from Governor Knighthawke of Minoc that
King Blackthorn: the towns be decorated for a Yuletide charitable gift connection.
King Blackthorn: While I find this an admirable event, unfortunately it will not be possible to decorate for it.
Tanda: *nods*
King Blackthorn: I wish Governor Knighthawke luck with her heartwarming event.
King Blackthorn: *smiles*

King Blackthorn: There was also a request from Governor Warner.
King Blackthorn: She requested that the winner of the recent "King's Cup" tournament be honored.
King Blackthorn: I was pleased to inform her that there is a trophy room next to my throne room,
King Blackthorn: which would be an ideal place to put a commemoration of the event.
King Blackthorn: Now we shall open the floor to new issues.
King Blackthorn: Governors may present any new issues first.
King Blackthorn: Now citizens may present new issues.
