King Blackthorn: *nods hello to everyone*
King Blackthorn: We have a lengthy agenda for this meeting, so let's get started.
Daanyick: *nods with acknowledgement*
King Blackthorn: If a governor will not be able to attend a meeting of the Council,

King Blackthorn: If you would like to make a request for assistance with an event,
King Blackthorn: it should be sent to the Lady Wraith (wraithbroadsword@gmail.com).
King Blackthorn: She has a cottage with a mailbox in northwest Britain, near the North Side Inn.
King Blackthorn: I see that two governors were unable to be here tonight.
King Blackthorn: Would anyone like to speak for one of their towns this evening?
King Blackthorn: Now I invite each governor to give a State of the Town status report,
King Blackthorn: With each governor yielding the floor to the next in line.
King Blackthorn: We will start from Minoc this meeting. Governor Knighthawke, you have the floor.
Tanda: Thank you your Grace
Tanda: Minoc is still hearing rumblings about labor issues, and talk of workers
Tanda: coming in who will work for lower wages
Tanda: any further details I have not been able to ascertain from random tavern talk
Tanda: I have also received a notice from a rather nefarious soul
Tanda: offering my fair city protection
Dot Warner: Heh
Tanda: and I am carefully considering this
Tanda: as we've had many run ins with this fellow leaving many wounded
Tanda: That is all I have at this point your majesty I yield to Governor Jameison
Thom Jameison: Thank you, Governor Knighthawke, your Grace
Thom Jameison: The city of Jhelom prospers and her citizens are enjoying peace.
Thom Jameison: We have suffered no attacks and I attribute this to the diligent work
Thom Jameison: of our defense forces.
Thom Jameison: I am glad to offer protection to any group or city that feels they are not properly
Thom Jameison: defended by either their realm or the BAF.
Thom Jameison: We continue our fight against pirates and are making progress.
Thom Jameison: I hope any Governor that needs protection from these villains
Thom Jameison: will free to contact me.

Willa of the Yew-Wood: Yew is doing quite well.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: The millers are reporting record topping sales of flour since the new dock has been up and running.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Shipments of wheat and grains from Moonglow and Britain have been steadily rising.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Though we did have a report of two lost ships that attempted to sail in from Skara Brae.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: I've advised the Harbormaster to warn ships of traveling north due to the Pirate activity reported there.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Other than that... things are wonderful in Yew and we are always proud of our Militia.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: I yield the floor to Governor Aornis.
Aornis: Thank you, Governor.
Aornis: All is well in Vesper. We have not received any offers of "protection,"
Aornis: though I am keeping an eye out for nefarious individuals
Aornis: The citizens are doing well and enjoying a time of peace

Kittie: Thank you kindly Governor, your grace. *smiles*
Kittie: Moonglow is doing quite well, our coffers are bursting and anxiously awaiting the Moonglow Garden Gala and Faire this weekend. Everyone seems to be busy cleaning and prepping the shops and the inn.
Kittie: Everyone is stocking up on all of their wares and even hiring new people to aid in the busy event. I am getting all the decorations in order and quite excitedly waiting to see the outcome. *smiles excitedly*
Kittie: Other than this, all is going well your Majesty. *smiles warmly* And with that, I yield the floor to Governor Arminger. *nod*
Norman Arminger: Thank you, Governor Kittie, your Majesty
Norman Arminger: Trinsic is enjoying a peaceful increase in trade.
Norman Arminger: We are enjoying a peaceful time, although I must report that I too received
Norman Arminger: a mysterious offer for protection from a Rodrik Von Karl.
Norman Arminger: Offering troops to provide protection to my city for a modest sum.
Norman Arminger: I am not inclined to trust him so we will be raising a Trinsic Guard to see to our on defense nee

Dot Warner: Thank you, Governor Arminger. Thank you, Your Majesty.
Daanyick: *hmmm, one to speak of trust*
Dot Warner: Britain has fared well since last we met, peaceful and quiet.
Dot Warner: Regrettably, however, the von Karl menace is still drawing breath.
Dot Warner: I also received a 'protection' demand from him just recently for two hundred fifty thousand gold a week.
Dot Warner: My response is a simple hand gesture unfit for these august chambers. *smirks*
Valeran: heh
Dot Warner: He also demanded that attempted murder charges be brought against Lords Knighthawke and Hla-ate, as well as Lady Z'muir, for a skirmish near the end of the last election.
Martyna Z'muir: *scoffs*
Dot Warner: I, in fact, commend them for taking the initiative to protect the capital and its citizens from his villainy, and thus absolve them of such a spurious charge.
Tanda: *glances at Governor Warner*
Dot Warner: May von Karl and his minions soon enjoy the hospitality of the Britannian justice system, or the cozy embrace of a pine box.

King Blackthorn: Thank you to all the governors for keeping me informed about your towns and cities.
King Blackthorn: Our Minister of Security, Magnus Grey, has sent a message.

Daanyick: *senses a "quietness" the others speak of like an eye of a great storm*

King Blackthorn: Governor Jameison, I am pleased to hear that my city of Valor is prosperous and peaceful.
King Blackthorn: It is very kind of Jhelom to offer assistance to other towns.
King Blackthorn: Governor Knighthawke, I hope Minoc is able to settle its labor issues.
Thom Jameison: *smiles and nods*
King Blackthorn: All Sosaria admires the workmanship of Minoc's goods.

King Blackthorn: I'm sure they can provide all the protection the town needs.

Shijima: As the Sheriff of Jhelom would I would like to request a Dock so our Navy can respond faster to
Shijima: pirate issues
King Blackthorn: *puzzled* Jhelom has docks.
Thom Jameison: he means a man to pay bounties for pirates on our docks
Shijima: Sorry, rephrase that, the pirate bounty man at the dock
King Blackthorn: Ah, I see
Thom Jameison: We have spoken of that as an incentive for privateers.
Shijima: so we can turn in pirates to him easier
King Blackthorn: It seems to me that it would take many people working together
King Blackthorn: To cause a bounty giver to decide to take up residence there.
Shijima: Yes Sire, just a suggestion, my jail stays full a times
