Quick update...
We have hit a snag in joining factions.
The alliance 'guild' cannot go factions while allied with nonfaction guilds. Due to the poorly designed alliance system, this will require that we break the alliance and have guilds join individually then reform the alliance.
The guildmasters of each branch will need to go to the True Britannian's faction stone, join and then accept the alliance request. Once the logistics are worked out, we will set a time to do this en masse - so the alliance is broken for only a few hours.
This should have no effect wars with anyone...

Actually I think this will shortly affect the wars.
The Ministry, aka the BAF Control Guild, won't be able to form the alliance while at war I believe. At least this used to be the case, but that was like 3 or so years ago and I have been here and gone intermintently in that space.

Have had no problem bringing in new guilds to the B.A.F...
I believe the only 'catch' here is that the administration has to be the one to initiate the alliance.

One thing that we have overlooked...
If we ally ourselves with any of the TB guilds/alliances, our alliance chat will no longer be our own - meaning we will hear their chatter and they will hear ours.
It is something to consider.

Are we allying with other TB guilds? I didn't know we were.
To be honest, I'd rather not be allied with them as to not have to listen to the douchebaggery that goes on in their guilds, not to mention the for sure flare ups that would happen between some of our members who take offense to their crap.
