A Wild Knight at the Rose Inn and Tavern

My dark deeds done, I headed down to my favorite tavern for a warm mug o’ the best ale in the whole of Sosaria. The ale is quite literally “to die for.” That is IF you can stomach all the nauseating talk of righteous action and virtuous thought by the patrons at the Wild Rose Inn & Tavern. The need for the warmth of a fine mug o’ale overcame my weak sense of self preservation and drove me to that splendid tavern.Willard Wonker

So disguised as Ward, the polydipsic farmer, I headed to the tavern. And well let’s just say I must remember to don the rouge next time. My hard work furthering the causes of the Temple gives my skin a lovely pallor that is uncommon among these poor virtuous types. My true identity was quickly discovered by the astute knights.
The knights, referring to my own stellar throne room exhibition, decided to make me an honored permanent guest of the town of Newcastle. So, impressed with my magnificence were these simple knights that they desired I stay in their company. Further, they requested that I perform the leading role in a theatrical production of the Newcastle coliseum players, “Enemy of the State.” So overwhelmed by their hospitality was I, there was no choice but to join the splendid march through town.
Upon arrival at the coliseum, I was provided with the finest accommodations. The spacious quarters leave little doubt as to why the peasants of Newcastle look so dispirited and emaciated. These haughty knights know how to live! If you can believe it, the bread was said to even include mold. These knights know the way to my heart. They’ll be giving me poisoned chocolates next.

A sneaky little vermin
