Britannia's towns are as varied and unique as its citizens, as you travel the land you'll notice the unique personalities of these player run cities and if you dig a little deeper you'll find out that many of them have a rich and deep seated history. For that reason, each week we'll be bringing you the banners from a few of these towns. This week we have selected two towns from the Chesapeake shard, read below for their story!

The Town of Gyldenfeld, Trammel, Chesapeake
Number of Buildings: 20

Gyldenfeld had its beginnings in 2003 when the Red Wolf Cafe was built on the side of the road just west of Britain as a small tavern. It began hosting weekly events of all sorts and the half dozen people who wandered into its doors soon became a full dozen, then two dozen, then several dozen. The cafe was soon enlarged, but more people kept coming so it was enlarged yet again. In time, many people of the realm began staking homesteads or purchasing land all around the cafe. Within a year it was decided, to provide for a civil and unified society, to form a government and so a town charter was drawn up and signed, incorporating the town in 384(2004).

Gyldenfeld is home mostly to long-time citizens of the realm and it's industry revolves around fishing, lumber trade and, to a lesser degree, mining. Plant-growing is a popular hobby amongst the locals as well as backyard archaeology. Gyldenfeld has pledged unswerving fealty to the monarch and serves as a bulwark to the west of the capital, lying defensively in front of the narrow mountain pass from the western approach. Gyldenfeld enjoys good relations with other communities of the realm and imposes no taxes on residents, nor tariffs on merchant trade. Despite its appreciable size, Gyldenfeld enjoys a small town feel with just a few, common-sense laws and well maintained, but low fences between neighbors.
