Due to the NDA apparently still being in effect for 2 more days, my only response to this news is:

*facepalm* :D'oh!

You know, it's funny. They all want to be fucking Blizzard.

Yet none of them have the fucking balls to do what Blizzard does and delay something until it can actually be considered a finished product.

EA/Origin were the first to start with this crap about how since Ultima Online is a massive online game that is evolving, there can't be a finished product per se. They use this excuse constantly. It's the only thing that successive MMO game producers/designers have EVER copied from Ultima Online. Yeah, that's right UO, get your hard on about some nerd declaring you in the Top 5 games that meant something of all time. Enjoy it because that's the only one you will ever have. When people look back upon this genre 20 years from now, it's not going to be UO they reference as the forebearer, it will be EQ and WoW. Your game will fade away into obscurity and never be known for what was originally the first well executed MMO.
