As of last week, Joanne Laroche and Mythic Entertainment have parted ways. On behalf of the entire Dark Age of Camelot team, we would like to thank Joanne for her tireless dedication to the game and the DAoC Community. We would also like to wish her the best in her future endeavours. In the interim, both myself and Lori Hyrup will be lending a hand with Community as we work through this transition period. In closing, Joanne was kind enough to write a farewell to the community, that I would like to share with you now:

My fellow Realm Mates,

It is with a saddened heart that I depart the realm of the Camelot Herald. The time I have had representing you has been a phenomenal experience and I will forever hold it dear. The Dark Age of Camelot community is so very strong and the battles will continue on. It has been a pleasure to join all of you in this wonderful game and I am looking forward to all of the good things to come. The Camelot Team has so much passion for the game and its players that I am thankful to have been a part of this energetic group of zergers/tree huggers and hordes.

I will remain on the battlefields with you my friends and enemies. The frontier is where you will find me, standing by your side or battling against you. The Camelot community is the best ever and I will never forget you. Thank you for your support through these years, I hope that you will remember me as kindly as I will remember all of you.

/salute, /hug, /wave

-Joanne

Lord DaKaren's Note: Yes, this is Dark Age of Camelot news, but after the 'departure' of Jeremy Dalberg a few months ago Joanne stepped up as UO's Community Liason. May her future endeavours bring her happiness.
