Height: 5’8

Weight: 165

Race: Unknown (presumed Earth-born human)

Physical Description: Dark skin, blue eyes, flowing vibrantpink hair.

Bio:
In June of the year 300, Lord DaKaren discovered a toddler wandering the rocky canyons outside of Wind. The ebony-skinned female child was completely nude and gnawing on a sprig of nightshade, a tuft of hot-pink hair atop her head. The child did not speak common Britannian fluently, but when asked what her name was she replied with “Doty War-nah”.

Swiftly wrapping her in his cloak, he set to searching the canyons for her parents – but found no one. Thinking she may have been forgotten by an absentminded mage-citizen of Wind, he brought her into the city to search for her parents. The local magistrate denied knowledge of a missing child, and a door-to-door search did not reveal any leads.

Not wishing to cast her into a Britannian orphanage, DaKaren adopted her as his own and raised her in his Order’s tower in the forests north of Vesper. Dot Warner, as she called herself now, took to the trade skills as if they had been created just for her. By the age of sixteen, she had attained Grandmaster status in blacksmithy, carpentry, bowcraft, tailoring, and tinkering.

When Dot turned eighteen, the Order of the Etheral Ankh rewarded her studies by opening a large shop to the east of the Yew moongate so she may bring her wares to the public. The Etheral Emporium did a brisk business, and Dot eventually became the mayor of the town that sprung up in the area - the City of Arcodia.

Dot took on an apprentice shortly after becoming mayor, a thief who broke into the Emporium by the name of Morgain. She taught her that the world was not as black and white as Morgain thought, and how to refocus her thievery skills into more useful endeavors.

The City of Arcodia flourished for many years under Dot’s guidance, spreading the word of Balance – a philosophy complimentary to the Virtues. Arcodia faced the Followers of Armageddon, the Temple of Mondain, the loss of its founder (Marconus Mcbeth), and roving bands of murders that sought to disrupt every city event.

Unfortunately, the city fell due to the Great Exodus to Trammel during the war with Minax; very few citizens remained on Felucca. Dot and Morgain consolidated the Etheral Emporium and moved it into a smaller villa behind Kazola’s Treetop Keg and Winery. Dot kept the shop running despite the lower traffic, but eventually began to spiral into depression.

To combat the depression, DaKaren decided to take Dot on a vacation to lift her spirits. Leaving Morgain in charge of the Emporium, off Dot went through a silver moongate. The vacation turned out to be a trip to Earth, a technological planet that has had close ties to Sosaria throughout history.

After many exciting and often dangerous adventures, Dot and DaKaren wound up spending nearly two years off world. They eventually made their way back to Britannia, only to discover that twenty-three years passed while they were away.

They found that the Etheral Emporium in Felucca had fallen into disrepair and was gone; and Morgain had been magically imprisoned for thirteen years and currently lived as a hermit in the desert of the Lost Lands. Her family in disarray, Dot built a new Emporium in the Deep Forest south of the new Kazola’s Treetop Keg & Winery in Trammel and brought Morgain home.

For a while, life was good. Dot enjoyed learning the new crafts that had been created during her time away, and spending time with her family and friends. Several building contracts also kept Dot occupied, most notably the Library of Sosaria just south of the Yew moongate.

Tragically, Morgain fell into a strange sleeping sickness that threatened her life and Dot became consumed with her care. After Morgain fell into a deep coma she was moved to DaKaren’s tower in Felucca for round-the-clock care. Seemingly unable to cope with the sudden turn for the worse, Dot began to heavily imbibe her favored spirits, Verity Isle Cider.

As the word headed to war with the forces of the Shadowlords, Dot’s life continued on a downward spiral. While keeping a vigil over Morgain, a freak storm destroyed the newly built Emporium. After helping to build DaKaren a new tower on Dragon Isle in Trammel, Dot set about creating another Emporium in the heart of Newcastle.

Soon after, DaKaren, now High Chancellor of the High Council of Britannia, moved his entire tower to Newcastle as well – only a few yards away from Dot’s Emporium.
