This is my tale.I do not remember my birth parents as both my brother and myself were found as infants in a forest by my father. Our parents having abandoned us, for reasons unknown. We were taken in by the humans i would come to know as Alfred and Gormlaith who i would call my father and mother.
We grew up in the city of Skara Brae. My parents being fishfolk taught us much about fishing and selling out wares at market. Life was not easy for my brother or i at times, we being elven. The locals did not distrust us as much as avoid us. It would have been quite lonely for us had we not had loving parents and each other.
Even though i worked alongside my father i was never truly interested in fishing (though i would never dare tell him that). As young boys do i sought adventures on my own being rather solitary in nature. I soon found an old man who practiced magic Alibe was his name. He was a true master of his craft. I would sit for hours as he told me of tales of batle he had been in and how he used magic to outwit and defeat his opponents. I spent every hour waking hour i could at his shop, until one day he offered to TEACH me.I jumped at the chance but, hid this fact from my parents.
I soon found i had an apptitude for magic and Alibe was more than willing to show me since he was getting on in age and had no sons to give his gift to. When i came of age i decided to go adventuring and see the world. My parents had recently died of old age and neither my brother or myself had the fishing blood in us. So i asked told my brother of my plans and we agreed to venture out in seperate directions to find adventure on our own. I asked Alibe where i could learn more about magic. He suggested that i try one of the monastaries in Moonglow. I studied under many masters until i too mastered the art of magery. I continued to wander after that until i came to the town of britain one day to buy some new spellbooks.
By the bank i saw a group of soldiers all uniformed and very disciplined. I was intrigued so i stood off to one side and observed them. I asked a local who they were and his reply was the are of the Royal Knights. The more i observed them the more i thought i want to look like that and command that respect, since it was obvious the towns people stood in awe of them.
I resolved to meet them but, chose not to do so right there and then. In my travels i had walked the lands of Tokuno and made friends with a man named Bishimi, one ninja by trade.I did not know it then but, he was the leader of a ninja clan. When i broached the subject of the Knights one day he told me he knew where they lived. I asked him if he could take me there to meet them. He told me of how dedicated they are to their cause and how dificult the life of a Knight can be. I thought about it and asked him to take me anyway.He took me to what i came to know as Newcastle and i met the leader one Oona by name. She asked why i wanted to be a Knight and soon after i joined the squire program. I made Newcastle my home and the Knights my career. The rest as they say is history.
