Kaydon is the oldest of 3 brothers, his youngers named Fyre and Loki. Raised iin the desert, and heir the to the archdruidship from his father Ardeth Bhey. His mother, a healer named Sirna, recognised early on that Kaydon did not want to follow his father's foot steps, and yearned for battle with sword and shield. His first weapon, a katana, was forged by the then family blacksmith, Ingot, who even now serves House Bhey under Kaydon at the Bhey compound in Britannia. Without his fathers blessing and in secret, Kaydon married Sirona, a swords maiden who was in her year of service to the Vernemeton Grove, of which Ardeth Bhey was archdruid. For seven years, the marriage was kept secret, along with the birth of Kaydon and Sirona's 3 sons, Talesian, Thalin and Kaledon. When the clan elders discovered the marriage, Ardeth vowed to take the children and force Kaydon into the druid circle. In a desperate attempt to save the young family, Sirna cast a gate to a secret location of the forests north of Britain. As the gate formed, the door burst open; Ardeth and several guards entering. Sirna shoved Kaydon through the gate> As Kaydon passed into the gate, his hand was wrested from the small clutch of his youngest son Kaledon. Peering back through the one-way gate, Kaydon saw his father grab Talesian and a guard wrest Thalin from Sirona. Sirona was then shoved through the gate, just as the gate collapsed.
At this point, Kaydon knew Sirona was dead, the powers of the collapsing gate erasing her from existence as its crackling power dissipated. He also knew his father would never allow him to return to the grove to retreive his sons. His new life was now a lone one in a strange land. His only possesion, an old katana with the name `Ingot' on it.
Kaydon set about to make something of his life, secretly hoping a return to the grove someday would find his father dead, and his sons alive. While in Britain, he met and joined with Galen, leader of a small band of warriors known as The Blue Riders. With the Blue Riders, Kaydon learned more than he ever had about sowrd play, and the most important lesson of all in Felucca; how to stay alive.
While hunting on Dagger Island, Galen met Lord Jack Mills, a lone royal who held court in his own castle on the north end of the island. An alliance was struck between the Blue Riders and Lord Mills own guild, the Great Lakes Savants of Honor. (GLS). The Blue Riders took residence in the castle, and after years of battles with the muderous guilds on that cold and forbidding island, Kaydon was declared heir to the Mills throne and castle.
It was then that his sons, Talesian and Kaledon (with Ingot in tow!), sailed to the island, having freed themselves of their aging grandfather, Ardeth, to be with their father once more. In an even odder twist, the grand mage Optimus Maximus (chronicler and advisor to Lord Mills), sensing Kaydon's loss of his wife Sirona, set to work and achieved a recasting of the very same gate in which Sirona was lost, retreiving her from the nowhere places between the worlds.. Kaydon and Sirona were together once more.
Together, allied with favorable guilds like VnG and others, the 3 great Ice Wars were fought and won. But in the end, the cost was high. Lord Mills was dead, and the castle that once rang with victory celebrations fell as one by one, the alliance guilds fell away into oblivion.
At this point, Kaydon and Sirona, along with their sons, disaapeared from Britannia history. Recently, at the behest of his brother Loki (long living in Britannia himself), word was sent to Kaydon and Sirona, bidding them return to Brittania, that a new fellowship rang true with the ordinances of the old ways born in GLS. Sirona keeps a residence in Newcastle, as Kaydon works on re-establishing a Bhey presence on a shore nearby.
Even now, the rumours have spread to nearly every hall and tavern; the Bhey's are back.
