King Blackthorn: Welcome governors and citizens to this month's Council meeting.
King Blackthorn: We have a lengthy agenda for this meeting, so let's get started.
King Blackthorn: If a governor will not be able to attend a meeting of the Council,
King Blackthorn: Contact my secretaries (Elizabella@uoem.net and Malachi@uoem.net.)
King Blackthorn: If you would like to make a request for assistance with an event,
King Blackthorn: it should be sent to the Lady Wraith (wraithbroadsword@gmail.com).
King Blackthorn: She has a cottage with a mailbox in northwest Britain, near the North Side Inn.
King Blackthorn: I see that some governors were unable to be here tonight.
King Blackthorn: Would anyone like to speak for one of their towns this evening?
King Blackthorn: Now I invite each governor to give a State of the Town status report,
King Blackthorn: With each governor yielding the floor to the next in line.
King Blackthorn: We will start from Yew this meeting. Governor Willa, you have the floor.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Oh Thank you Your Grace!
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Yew has been fine of late. I am still bringing food to our lovely guards.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: And I've heard many merchants wanting to Thank the Royal Builders for the new Dock.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Most especially the Millers
Willa of the Yew-Wood: They said the production of flour has increased tenfold.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Getting wheat and grains from Britain by ship has been far faster and more secure so far.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Though the threats of Pirates are always about.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Other than that things are wonderfully calm.....
Willa of the Yew-Wood: I Yield the floor to Governor Thom Jameison of Jhelom.
Thom Jameison: Thank you your Highness and fellow Governors
Thom Jameison: Things have been going well in Jhelom.
Thom Jameison: Trade flourishes and the citizens are prospering.
Thom Jameison: I hosted a pirate hunt last Wed. and we were able to bring 10 pirates to justice.
Thom Jameison: By that I mean we killed them.
Thom Jameison: *grins*
Thom Jameison: I did find a crate of weapons on one ships made by "The Royal Armory"
Thom Jameison: I am not sure how pirates got hold of them.
Dot Warner: *arches a brow*
Thom Jameison: I have no additional news to share at this time and yield the floor to the lovely Governor
Thom Jameison: Knighthawke
Tanda: Thank you Governor
Tanda: Your Majesty
Tanda: Minoc and Vesper were investigating voices in the forest
Tanda: I believe last we were here
Tanda: It turns out the voices belonged to spirits
Tanda: of an evil witch and a man who had a knack
Tanda: for burning suspected witches
Tanda: with some voices of innocent victims
Tanda: a large group came to our aid
* Belaern Dinoryn makes several fleeting appearances in the audience *
Dot Warner: *glares*
Tanda: and both spirits were returned to the other side
Tanda: *glances*
Tanda: There have also been rumbling
Kittie: *blinks*
Tanda: and rumors about labor issues in the mines of Minoc
Tanda: at this point I am not sure of any details
Tanda: we will investigate and report back when more is learned
Tanda: Thank you Your Majesty and I yield to Governor Warner
Kittie: *growls*
Tanda: *looks and then again*
Willa of the Yew-Wood: There is danger in our midst I think.
King Blackthorn: Yes, but it doesn't have the floor.
Dot Warner: I'm not sure parliamentary procedure is known to him.
King Blackthorn: Please report on your town, Governor Warner.
Dot Warner: Britain is doing well, considering the city is still recovering from the recent attack.
Dot Warner: However, the citizens are concerned about the apparent ease with which the machines were able to set up their beacons and subsequently invade.
Dot Warner: While the Royal Guards handled the issue with their usual...aplomb...questions regarding the vigilance of the city guards have been raised.
Dot Warner: Many fear that they have grown complacent, or have lost the will to report odd occurrences.
Dot Warner: Some feel that they should be sacked, seeing how they have also allowed known criminals to move freely within the city to endanger its citizens.
Dot Warner: Due to this, I have issued local warrants for Rodrik Von Karl and Belaern Dinoryn.
Dot Warner: Both are wanted for murder, engaging in the trade of slaves, kidnapping, smuggling and piracy.
Dot Warner: Both may be brought in dead...or alive.
Dot Warner: *coughs*
Tanda: *glances about*
Dot Warner: That is all at this time, thank you. I yield the floor to Governor Arminger.
Norman Arminger: Thank you, Your grace. Fellow Governors
Norman Arminger: Trinsic is peaceful
Norman Arminger: I hope that this will continue, I am trying to get to know my citizens and assess
Norman Arminger: their needs.
Norman Arminger: I will be holding a Town Hall meeting next Wed.
Norman Arminger: *smiles*
Gregor Richter: *nods*
Norman Arminger: That is all I have for the Council at this time. So I yield the floor to Governor

King Blackthorn: *smiles encouragingly*
Kittie: *swallowing hard* Your Majesty, the coffers of Moonglow seem to be raising quite well..
Kittie: I held a poll for the people, asking them what they would like, and am happy to say that Moonglow will continue with the Merchants Association. *smiles and nods.. fumbling with her papers*
Kittie: O-On Friday I will be holding a town meeting about the Moonglow Garden Gala and Fair coming up at the end of this month.. t-to which, You-Your Majesty is more than welcome to attend.. if.. if you-your Majesty so wishes..
* several members of the Light Horse Mercenaries appear and assault Governors Knighthawke, Yew-wood and Warner *

Belaern Dinoryn: Down with Blackthorn and his lap dogs the Governors!
Willa of the Yew-Wood: *glares*
Dot Warner: I believe that I rescind the "alive" part of my warrants...

Gregor Richter: Quite rude of them.
Kittie: y-your Majesty.. those are the vicious men that .. that poisoned the good people of Moonglow!
Martyna Z'muir: *peeks out*
King Blackthorn: I see. Thank you for that information, Governor Kittie.

Kittie: and myself included!
Willa of the Yew-Wood: What?
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Never!
King Blackthorn: The Royal Guard can protect the towns. You don't need to pay anyone.
Kittie: Please, your Majesty.. they must be stopped.. I beg of you.. *she looked to him with tears in her eyes*
Thom Jameison: this is outrageous
King Blackthorn: Of course, if the governors wish, you can all band together and hunt down
King Blackthorn: the criminals.
Kittie: Thank you your Majesty.. but, I was not about to pay them for such in any case.
Nevahs Blazefire: *Uncovers her shield and mutters about miscreants.*
Dot Warner: They are like vermin, Your Majesty.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: I will be making a formal request to Lord Polynikes.
Kittie: *nods* I have made a request as well.. I worry your Majesty.. for my daughters sake.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: I'll need to be visiting my tree for a bit.

John: *whistles*
King Blackthorn: Welcome, Governor Goldie.
King Blackthorn: Please take your seat.
Goldie: Thank you
King Blackthorn: This is the part in the meeting where governors tell us how their town is.
Goldie: ahh
King Blackthorn: How are things in New Magincia?
Goldie: they are good
Goldie: I have been very thankful for the support
Goldie: during the election
Goldie: Den of the Stone Dragons gave me warm welcome yesterday
Goldie: Not much else to report in my two weeks of office
King Blackthorn: Thank you to all the governors for keeping me informed about your towns and cities.
King Blackthorn: Our Minister of Security, Magnus Grey, has sent a message.
King Blackthorn: *reads from the scroll*
King Blackthorn: Britannian Security forces recently recovered the sixth Moonstone of Vice.
King Blackthorn: The Moonstone of Wrong was held by a dangerous ghost named Calithiss.
King Blackthorn: Calithiss had started a brutal war in Ilshenar hundreds of years ago.
King Blackthorn: While Calithiss was defeated, the spirit had set in motion an attack on Britain.
King Blackthorn: The Royal Guard repelled the automaton attack. We don't expect further problems.
King Blackthorn: We have no news on the location of the other two Moonstones, but we are looking into it.
King Blackthorn: *continues reading from scroll*
King Blackthorn: In other news, the second gem needed by the Time Lord has been found.
King Blackthorn: Dupre led Britannian forces to raid a crypt in Felucca to recover the needed ruby.
King Blackthorn: We will likely need to provide assistance for the recovery of the final two gems.
Tanda: *nods*
King Blackthorn: *rolls the scroll back up*
King Blackthorn: My thanks to Minister Grey.
King Blackthorn: Now I shall respond to the State of the Towns.
King Blackthorn: Governor Jameison, I am pleased that Jhelom is peaceful and prospering.
King Blackthorn: You have done well in protecting your city from pirates,
King Blackthorn: and in reclaiming Britannian property.
King Blackthorn: Governor Goldie, welcome to the Council. *smiles*
Goldie:
King Blackthorn: It is good to hear that all is well in New Magincia.
King Blackthorn: Governor Knighthawke, you and Governor Aornis were very brave and
King Blackthorn: industrious to investigate and solve the problem in the forest.
Tanda: *smiles*
Tanda: Thank you
King Blackthorn: *smiles*
King Blackthorn: It is good to see Minoc and Vesper working together.
King Blackthorn: I will be interested to hear what you discover about the mines.
King Blackthorn: Governor Warner, I am pleased to hear that Britain is recovering well.
King Blackthorn: I shall discuss the issue of the city guards with Commander Kincade.
King Blackthorn: Of course, a busy capital has many different people and busy commerce,
Dot Warner: * nods*
King Blackthorn: So it can be difficult to police without stifling trade.
King Blackthorn: I am pleased, of course, with how swiftly and bravely the Royal Guard handled the problem.
King Blackthorn: Governor Arminger, welcome to the Council. *smiles*
Norman Arminger: *nods*
King Blackthorn: I am pleased that all is peaceful in Trinsic.
King Blackthorn: I wish you well with learning the needs and wishes of your citizens.
King Blackthorn: Governor Kittie, I also welcome you to the Council. *smiles*
King Blackthorn: That was a good idea, to hold a poll to find out what trade deal to choose.
Kittie: *smiles, looking to him with a wide eyed stare, blushing a bit*
Kittie: Th-thank you, your Grace.
King Blackthorn: I wish you luck with your town meeting. The Garden Gala and Fair sound charming.
King Blackthorn: Governor Willa, it is good to hear that all is peaceful in my city of Justice.
Kittie: *blinks and nods enthusiastically*
King Blackthorn: The Library of Scars will be glad to know that the guards are protecting the city well.
King Blackthorn: Yes, the builders did a wonderful job with the docks.
King Blackthorn: Now we turn to requests from governors.
King Blackthorn: There weren't any this month.
King Blackthorn: Now we shall open the floor to new issues.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Oh my bulletin board was delivered and is working wonderfully.
King Blackthorn: Yes, the four towns that requested bulletin boards received them.
Tanda: As was mine, almost forgot to say Thank you
King Blackthorn: I hope they are helpful to you all. *smiles at the governors*
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Indeed.
Kittie: *smiles and nods*
Willa of the Yew-Wood: And there are some strange creatures in the Abbey of late.
King Blackthorn: If any city does not yet have a bulletin board and wants one, just contact my secretaries.

King Blackthorn: Does any governor have other new issues?
King Blackthorn: Now citizens may present new issues.
