King Blackthorn: *nods hello to everyone*
King Blackthorn: If a governor will not be able to attend a meeting of the Council,
King Blackthorn: Contact my secretaries (Elizabella@uoem.net and Malachi@uoem.net.)

King Blackthorn: I see that several governors were unable to be here tonight.
King Blackthorn: Would anyone like to speak for one of their towns this evening?
King Blackthorn: Now I invite each governor to give a State of the Town status report,
King Blackthorn: With each governor yielding the floor to the next in line.
King Blackthorn: We will start from Yew this meeting. Governor Willa, you have the floor.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Thank you Your Grace.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: The city of Yew has been enjoying a lovely time of peace.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: We haven't had much going on though I can say the people Love the new dock.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Fishermen are quite happy and the Miller's and their families are most pleased.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: It has certainly helped boost the production of flour.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: However there is still the matter of a bridge or ferry or something from the Yew far farm.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: The Farmers there are quite distressed about having to travel all the way around the bay through the woods to get to market.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: I'm rather afraid they are getting very upset with me.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: I promised I'd mention the need again.
Willa of the Yew-Wood: Other than that... things are quite well...
Willa of the Yew-Wood: On to you Governor Warner.
Dot Warner: Thank you Your Majesty, thank you Governor Willa.
Dot Warner: Britain is quiet, however there are rumors that a certain tunnel system is bringing new criminal elements into the city.
Dot Warner: As it is, the Britain is in need of a new sheriff. *frowns slightly*
Dot Warner: In far less dour news, the Trans-Britannia Derby was held two weekends ago.
Dot Warner: While the number of riders was a tad on the anemic side, I believe that a good time was had by all.
Dot Warner: Drew of WTO won the derby, Katlyn of TS came in second, with DJ Doctor of UO Radio coming in third.
Dot Warner: Congratulations to them all!
Dot Warner: The next big event will be on the 28th of this month, the Tournament of Valor.
Dot Warner: It is the first qualifier in the King's Cup Tournament, which will be held in November

Tanda: Minoc saw an attack by Raven the daughter of Samhayne the eve after the last
Tanda: Royal Council meeting she was sent at the request of her father
Tanda: They have been dealt with and Minoc is most grateful to all who assisted in our defense.
Tanda: The troubadours who came were met well and brought several visitors
Tanda: they are returning this weekend with new games of skill and chance
Tanda: with large sums of prize money for the winning
Tanda: Our thanks to them and Majestic Oaks Auction house for aiding our efforts.
Tanda: We held our first Highland Hunt on March 9th
Tanda: it was a good test to see how quickly we can respond and how sharp our skills our
Tanda: all made the High Council meeting intact after

Tanda: for having your treasury officers make predictable visits
Tanda: to collect from the city, it has aided my memory immensely.

Magnus Grey: The Shame Knight was responsible for a murder and several assaults in Trinsic.
Magnus Grey: The Knight was identified as a ranking paladin named Conner, but he escaped arrest.
Magnus Grey: Also, another paladin, Lord Whitsaber, was discovered to be an imposter.
Magnus Grey: With these losses in leadership, Trinsic has asked Britannian Security to step in.
Magnus Grey: I will keep you informed of the situation.
