Re: Proposed Treaty with Nujel'm

Just a few constructive thoughts I had in reading the treaty: 1) I'm not sure I would mention the other treaties presently in place; that sounds more like verbal reasoning for the treaty, not something you'd put in place in a permanent document. My reasoning on this is because if something were to h...

Some Thanks, Apologies, and More...

Hey there, everyone, First, I just wanted to offer thanks to everyone who has attended my recent events. I know things are a little slow getting them up to speed and all, but I appreciate you all rolling with the RP-based engagements to see where they all go. I definitely appreciate it, and hope as ...

Re: Poposal to ammend the Constitution voting process

That brings up a problem though, neither the Constitution nor the Court Charter outlines how someone becomes the Chief Justicar. The Constitution mentions seniority in Article VI-C,2-a, but not in regards to who IS Chief Justicar. So... looking back at the amendment that returned us to a triumvirat...

Re: Poposal to ammend the Constitution voting process

I'm leery of proscribing how the non-Virtue cities choose their Councilors in too much detail. How often will anything under B-2,C realistically be used is my question. Right now, the only cities it would effect are Newcastle and Pax Dragotha. Where are they going to get the Electoral Administrator...

Re: Poposal to ammend the Constitution voting process

The other thing to remember is sometimes what looks good on paper you do not find out has a few kinks in it until you attempt to use it or live it. It would be difficult to find more accurate words for this. *grins* A lot of the early days of the Council were spent adjusting for the sake of fairnes...

Re: Poposal to ammend the Constitution voting process

As I was reading through your suggestions, DaKaren, I realized that we should probably just go ahead and amend the entirety of Article XVII and clean it up a bit rather than just focus on XVII.A.2. You have some excellent suggestions, and I think we can compromise on a couple of areas. First thing I...

Re: Poposal to ammend the Constitution voting process

Truth in advertising, Willa and I have been working on this together to address some of the confusion that took place behind the scenes at last election -- the proposed amendment is as follows with commentary about some of the suggested changes from verbal discussion I was not part of. Notes in red ...

Re: Amendment to the Sixth Constitution of the Kingdom

Just a few issues that I think need to be directly addressed, with a handful of others that I'll save for another time because I think they would need to be argued in a political manner rather than by letter. II/A/2 - Chief Justicar rather than Chief Justice... fits the Justicar theme that has been ...
